Key Accountabilities:

API & Middleware Architecture:
- Establish an API-centric environment through the creation and enhancement of APIs.
- Support API usage across diverse data environments including multiple databases and file formats.
- Utilize IBM APPConnect for middleware platform expertise.
- Maintain architecture and integration documentation, ensuring adherence to guidelines and user requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by collaborating with end users.

Solutions Design:
- Define innovative solutions to meet business requirements.
- Promote adoption of industry best practices for integration architecture.
- Evaluate development tools to achieve efficient system designs.
- Propose innovative solutions to maintain a competitive edge in technology offerings.

Development Activities:
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Execute best practices throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Provide quality assurance on solutions prior to production release.
- Execute unit testing and peer code review.

Project Management:
- Coordinate projects within Technology Services and Business Transformation, ensuring documentation and execution meet operational standards.
- Monitor and suggest enhancements for existing processes.
- Ensure effective use of IT teams and manage project risks appropriately.
Skills Required:
- Extensive experience with web services and SOA applications, including IBM App Connect Enterprise and integration products (IIB, WMB, MQ, ESB).
- Proficient in JAVA, ESQL, SQL, and stored procedures, with experience in SQL Server and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, and data transmission protocols (HTTP/S, SSL, TLS).
- Experience with Spring Boot REST service implementation and WebSphere MQ.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant technical certifications in Microsoft and middleware technologies are preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred.
