Position

The Manager - Business Continuity is responsible for conducting Business Continuity and Risk Assessments, performing Business Impact Analysis, creating Business Continuity Plans, Crisis Management Plans, and coordinating Incident/Crisis Response. This role includes conducting regular testing & training, preparing and circulating reports and dashboards, and leading internal and external audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk and impact analysis to identify critical processes, recovery objectives, and necessary resources.
  • Design and develop Business Continuity plans and implement agreed-upon recovery strategies.
  • Coordinate with functional subject matter experts during a crisis to manage disruption effectively.
  • Ensure regular exercises are conducted to test the effectiveness of plans and train employees on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure preparedness.
  • Maintain consistent documentation standards and create and circulate BCM program status reports.
  • Identify process redundancies and recommend solutions including automation opportunities.
  • Assist countries in building and deploying BCM teams.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with HC to facilitate required training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Post qualification in Finance/Audit and/or Information Systems.
  • Deep understanding of business processes, systems, crisis management, and data backup and recovery processes.
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP, CBCI, MBCI) or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Manager.
  • 5+ years in a similar position or with Finance/Audit/BCM experience.
  • Experience in the retail business is an advantage.
