Job Accountabilities & Activities
Operations:
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional system specifications.
- Support and enhance SaaS and ERP systems, ensuring operational effectiveness, data integrity, and seamless integration with reporting platforms.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and risk controls; resolve system and data quality issues; support solution deployment activities.
Planning:
- Analyze business processes and ERP utilization to identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements.
- Develop solution designs, workflows, controls, and compliance requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for advanced analytics, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Development:
- Lead process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
- Develop business cases and manage requirements delivery within Agile frameworks.
- Support testing, UAT, and production readiness while promoting innovative technologies and best practices.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, manage stakeholder engagement, communicate project updates, and support change management initiatives.
Reporting:
- Monitor and report on project progress, operational performance, system utilization, KPIs, and SLA compliance.
- Support the development of reports, dashboards, and analytics while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Knowledge Management & Training:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes, ERP systems, SaaS applications, and data management.
- Develop documentation, deliver user training, and promote knowledge sharing and analytics adoption across the organization.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure business processes, system solutions, and data management practices comply with governance, risk management, and organizational standards.
Education & Certifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent qualification preferred.
Certifications
- Preferred certifications include:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
- Agile Certification (Scrum Master, Agile Practitioner, or equivalent)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- ERP Certifications (Oracle, SAP S/4HANA, Murex, or equivalent)
- Data Analytics or Business Intelligence Certifications (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, SAP Datasphere, etc.)
Required Years of Experience
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, ERP systems, process improvement, data analytics, or business transformation within financial services or related industries.
