Job Specific Accountabilities
- Manage tracking and measuring of operational excellence within the portfolio of products and services, ensuring quality, adherence to standards, and customer feedback to identify shortfalls and implement recommendations.
- Develop the operating framework for the function; oversee its implementation to ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Plan and lead the implementation of quality assurance and process improvement initiatives from inception to completion across Retail, optimizing resources to achieve process excellence.
- Oversee the timely monitoring of operations across the company Distribution network to assess quality compliance with defined standardization (ISO) requirements.
- Manage stock-taking activities to ensure adherence to policies and the accuracy of information, analyzing inventory variances for strategic management decision-making.
- Develop and implement Stock Take systems, schedules, and procedures for inventory control in C-Stores, Lubricants, LPG, Main Products, and Accessories.
- Administer all contracts and agreements, review scope of work, monitor contractor performance, and manage payment processes.
- Conduct technical evaluations of contracts and supplier performance to maintain standards.
- Streamline work processes and implement quality management tools to achieve operational excellence and world-class practices, undertaking internal audits at Service Stations.
- Analyze operational data to derive insights regarding fuel retail business services and products, facilitating operational improvements in service station efficiency and effectiveness to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide subject matter expertise and propose improvement initiatives for effective operations and optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Identify initiatives for cost optimization aligned with company Distribution management guidelines.
- Monitor and support deployment/provisioning of technical domains for optimal performance of reporting software at various sites.
- Identify critical business processes; recommend re-engineering to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and eliminate non-value adding work. Collaborate with IT and other divisions to study and evaluate system requirements.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 12 years of experience, including at least 6 years in the fuel retail industry within the region.
- Deep knowledge of business workflows, operations processes, and systems.
