Manager Business System

About the Role
Lead relationship with Business Divisions from an IT delivery and outcome perspective, manage annual IT work program with a large and operationally critical work program of the assigned Line of Business (LOB) keeping in mind business growth plans, opportunities and operational challenges. Manage a portfolio of programs, projects and/or ongoing service provisions, by establishing scheduling, delivery and resource dependencies, and risk management across the projects to ensure program delivery in an efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner.

Your duties would include:

• Ensure Technology strategy for the assigned Line of Business (LOB) is drafted and agreed with the relevant stakeholder ensuring work program is derived from this.
• Engage with all outsourced/hosted IT services for assigned business area ensuring that service provider meets agreed service levels.
• Ensure that the established IT strategy (over a 3–5-year timeframe) for assigned business is being met with regards to functionality, technology and cost, and future application strategy.
• Ensure that the objectives for the program are defined to enable measurement of success and reprioritization when conflicts arise.
• Ensure structured, qualitative, and quantitative review of IT service delivery with the assigned departments.
• Ensure that all projects and systems comply with IT governance framework and standards from process, deliverables, and reporting perspective.
• Take ownership in ensuring business cases & CMCs with the right cost inputs for the assigned program and projects.
• Work with IT teams to ensure projects under that are delivered within agreed cost and timescales.
• Ensure the IT work program to be undertaken is agreed with the business units along with key attributes such as business priority is defined and maintained. Ensure that each project is initiated at the right time.
• Ensure that any specific standards and procedures to be followed by all the projects/sub.
• Establish organizational governance for the work program such as Steering Committee and Working Groups working with the line manager.
• Ensure that risks from individual projects and operational systems are consolidated, prioritized based on risk exposure, and resources are focused to manage risks with the highest impact on the program.
• Ensure that a consolidated work program plan is established and maintained based on high-level planning output from individual projects.
• Responsible for regular updates and reporting to the line manager and relevant stakeholders on project KPIs through the deployment of business management processes and systems.
• Contribute to the development of annual and rolling budgets related to application systems for business areas in line with the agreed business specific IT strategy.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our IT Team. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.

Essential

• Experience in leading IT projects, at least 3 years should be in successful delivery of large work program.

• Hands-on experience working with airline crew management and flight operations systems.
• Demonstrated leadership in AI adoption in different areas of SDLC Phases.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, Commerce or Sciences.
• Industry-related certification in either or both ITIL, Project Management.
• Airline Industry experience though not essential would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of aviation regulatory compliance, crew scheduling, crew training, and crew operational requirements.
