Position

The Core Payments team is looking for a Manager to drive the Core Payments strategy and execution forward by working collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-country teams. This role will provide thought leadership to the Management Team and ensure that the goals and objectives of Core Payments are successfully executed in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic projects for the Core Payments Organization, focusing on design and execution.
  • Build strong business partnerships with leaders in various divisions/countries, as well as the Pricing & Strategy and Services teams.
  • Provide key insights into business performance by market and segment, helping to identify strategic priorities.
  • Support the Core Payments EVP and broader leadership team with time-sensitive requirements and projects.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process and monitor progress against the strategic plan.
  • Assess the economic landscape of key markets and articulate its influence on Mastercard’s business and key account objectives.
  • Develop and enhance monitoring dashboards for tracking key financial and market metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in consulting/strategy and managing large-scale project execution, as well as strong analytics skills.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying strategic vision and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and building relationships across multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment across business units, functions, and international markets.
  • A track record of thought leadership within the payments industry, with knowledge of the Payment Industry.
  • Customer-focused and solution-driven approach, with an MBA in Economics or Engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analytics tools and coding is a plus (e.g., Alteryx, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is expected.
