Manager - Corporate PMO

The main objective of this role is to manage strategic project investments by consolidating and governing tasks and activities across various operations, commercial, support functions, and external stakeholders to drive a corporate PMO function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop overarching project plans for strategic initiatives and investments, consolidating departmental plans.
• Coordinate comprehensive collation of tasks to ensure successful project completion, including external stakeholders.
• Manage regular status reviews of each project, ensuring accurate and timely progress reporting from task owners.
• Conduct project performance reviews, escalating issues for corrective action when necessary.
• Stress test project timelines for significant changes in delivery and assess their impact.
• Develop governance mechanisms for all projects, including managing Steering & Working Groups.
• Validate and assess business cases for each project to ensure benefits are realized through defined KPIs.
• Foster collaboration between Corporate PMO and Business Unit Project Managers.
• Maintain a portfolio view of projects for quick reference to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and processes for large corporate projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) in any discipline; professional qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• 7 - 9 years of demonstrable experience in project management.
• Proficiency in MS Project is advantageous.
• Project management certification (PMI, PROSCI, or similar) preferred.
