The role is responsible for overseeing and managing all creative projects within the company, ensuring they align with the brand's vision and objectives. This involves leading a team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing innovative and impactful marketing campaigns across various channels.
Responsibilities
- Create designs and visual hierarchy systems, establish the design language, and execute design direction, visual assets, and presentation materials.
- Oversee design and production of daily and weekly assets by product type.
- Meet marketing objectives and strategies, adhering to tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with production to plan outside production shoots, including location, models, story-boards, and copywriting.
- Develop effective graphical deployment to maximize impact.
- Review creative briefs for incoming jobs and develop creative direction collaboratively based on job requests.
- Organize and maintain a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with the manager of Creative Services to establish brand/event direction and manage the process through asset creation.
- Establish clean creative concepts that are consistent with the brand focus.
- Manage expectations for product photography and other assets used across multiple channels.
- Estimate and manage time accurately and independently, maintaining project deadlines and budgets.
- Manage the creative process from concept to execution to implementation.
- Enforce compliance with all necessary controls and related information security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or Business Communications.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in applied design and management, with specialist individual contributor or team lead roles.
- Team or technical supervision skills are beneficial.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex technical activities and experience working with senior staff on large clients and projects.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with skills in photography and illustration.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design skills (layout, typography, color).
- Working knowledge of Motion Graphics and Interaction Design; past program management experience in Asana is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with visual asset development, including iconography, typography, color, web layout design, illustrations, print production, and infographics.
- Fair knowledge of video production and animation, and proficiency in visual design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and wire-framing tools.
