As a senior leader at our client sites, you will drive high-impact Software Asset Management (SAM) initiatives to enhance governance, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with software licensing requirements. You will lead large-scale SAM transformation programs by designing and implementing comprehensive SAM strategies aligned with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising C-level executives and IT leaders on software asset governance, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Overseeing complex software licensing assessments across multiple vendors, including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and Adobe.
- Developing and implementing enterprise-wide SAM frameworks, ensuring integration with broader IT asset management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) strategies.
- Driving software cost optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities for contract renegotiation, software consolidation, and license reallocation.
- Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations, helping clients secure favorable terms with software providers.
- Ensuring audit readiness and compliance by leading software license reviews and advising on risk mitigation strategies.
- Developing and delivering thought leadership on SAM best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes.
- Leading and mentoring teams, fostering a high-performance culture within the SAM advisory practice.
- Contributing to business development efforts by identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and expanding client relationships.

You will be working in multiple locations across Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field, and over 8 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT asset management, or software licensing, with a focus on advisory and consulting. Candidates should exhibit strong leadership experience, deep expertise in major licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, etc.) and SAM tools (Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow Software). A proven track record in driving cost optimization, compliance, and contract negotiations is essential, along with fluency in English and strong communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CSAM, Microsoft Licensing Specialist) are a plus.
