Key Responsibilities

  • Design and enforce cybersecurity governance frameworks and policies in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with information security
  • Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance governance practices
  • Monitor governance effectiveness and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Develop training programs to enhance employee awareness of cybersecurity governance issues
  • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to adapt governance strategies accordingly
  • Liaise with external partners and stakeholders on governance-related matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity governance or compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (like NIST and ISO 27001)
  • Proven experience in risk management and the ability to conduct thorough assessments
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CGEIT are highly desirable
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage diverse tasks
