About the Job
The Manager of Cybersecurity Resilience will own, oversee, and drive Group Cyber Security Resilience in Governance, Compliance & Assurance. This role involves proactively enforcing and executing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and a security control framework based on NIST standards while ensuring compliance with necessary regulatory security requirements, such as Dubai ISR, PCI DSS, and GDPR. The successful candidate will be accountable for establishing and overseeing a security-by-design approach across The Emirates Group globally, providing consultation, tools, and training to reinforce overall cybersecurity resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement a fit-for-purpose cybersecurity policy (ISMS) and governance control framework across the Group.
  • Facilitate Cybersecurity Governance within the IT steering board at a high level.
  • Drive and oversee Cybersecurity Assurance activities, ensuring security-by-design oversight and regulatory compliance for all global and local entities.
  • Empower delivery organizations to enhance cybersecurity resilience, acting as a front office for embedded cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Implement security, privacy, and regulatory compliance principles into the IT organisation.
  • Provide continuous improvements and report on the state of Cybersecurity Assurance, driving remediation as necessary.
  • Own and manage Cybersecurity regulatory compliance, consulting closely with other business functions to prevent non-compliance.
  • Drive IT Business continuity and disaster recovery planning for optimal operational resilience.
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments in collaboration with Legal and Internal Audit.
  • Research and drive industry best practices to enhance Group Cybersecurity resilience capabilities.
  • Establish and orchestrate a global network of Regional or Functional Business Information Officers (BISO) to implement Cyber Security governance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Honours (12 +3 or equivalent) in Information Technology, IT Security, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in Information Technology, with a minimum of 5 years at a senior management level in IT Risk or Cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience in Regulatory Framework implementation, IT operations, and project delivery.
  • Knowledge of Stakeholder Management, Security frameworks (ISO27001/CIS), and Cyber Resilience best practices.
