In this role, you’ll support the continuous improvement of our data and AI ecosystem by focusing on performance optimisation, reliability, and efficiency through modern engineering practices, automation, and smart architectural design. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to ensure our platforms meet the needs of the business, enabling faster, smarter, and more data‑driven decision‑making.
Alongside your technical contribution, you’ll lead and support a growing team of engineers across platform, data, and MLOps. You’ll help create an environment where collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement are encouraged every day. You will provide guidance and mentorship by helping your team develop their skills, adopt modern approaches, and deliver high‑quality solutions at pace. You’ll also play an important role in fostering a culture of accountability and shared ownership, coordinating with vendors and technology partners to maintain and enhance platform capabilities, ensuring the team is set up for success and consistently delivering value.

Degree qualified, you will demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of experience in data platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or AI systems management. Strong understanding of cloud-based data and AI platforms (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric, IBM Watsonx) is preferred.
