Position

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for planning and maintaining EITC wide Data Protection, Security and Privacy projects and initiatives, along with governance to comply with data security and customer privacy regulations impacting business propositions, marketing, campaigns, and data monetization requirements based on risk, compliance (PCI DSS, ISO 27001), and regulatory (TRA, NESA etc) requirements. The individual will be a key technical person who champions the value of data in the future success of our organization and is ready to drive a ‘Data Centric Security’ strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review the demands for securing the du solution/platform from Managed Services, IT & Network, and build the appropriate data security controls as needed.
  • Manage overall planning, design, and implementation of data Security Services programs and projects.
  • Develop Security Design based on assessments for services provided over the Telecom/IT infrastructure & Managed Services.
  • Plan and manage proper assessments of cloud security solutions to ensure requirements are designed and implemented as per the agreed quality and timelines.
  • Lead the Acceptance Testing Plan (ATP) for security projects to evaluate and validate scope.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics and communication, computers, electrical and electronic, or similar field.
  • Certifications such as Firewall Associate, ITIL, Systems Engineer.

Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in the telecommunication industry.
  • Security Certification CISSP/CISM compared with experience (CISSP-CISM with 4 years; course completion with no certification requires 4-6 years of experience).

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of data security & privacy, Identity Management solutions.
  • Good understanding of technical aspects relating to the Telecom including Enterprise IT systems.
  • Extensive technical expertise in technologies such as Content Security, Infrastructure Security, and Endpoint Security.
  • Strong skills and experience in a multi-cultural and multinational environment.
