Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the Data Platform, monitoring system performance, and ensuring successful data loads and ETL processes.
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions by utilizing banking domain knowledge alongside technical expertise.
- Design and architect technology solutions tailored to the banking domain while aligning with the organization's technology strategy.
- Build ETL workflows and scripts to automate data integration processes.
- Investigate and resolve Data Platform-related issues, coordinating with various teams to identify root causes.
- Administer and monitor the Informatica environment for optimal performance, including regular checks of logs and system resources.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the Informatica environment to ensure data security.
- Oversee changes to the Data Platform production support environment, ensuring proper documentation and testing.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through validation checks and regular audits.
- Optimize the Data Platform's performance to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide support to end-users, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain documentation for the Data Platform environment, including data models and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with incident management teams to track incidents and implement risk management controls.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Warehouse, Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Unix, Hadoop, Hive, Python, and Spark.
- Proficient in writing and tuning ETL jobs, database programs, and queries.
- Strong understanding of Data Management Fundamentals, Data Architecture, Modelling, and Governance.
- In-depth knowledge of banking and finance processes, products, and regulations.
- Hands-on experience in Hadoop and cloud ecosystems, including ETL job migration.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages may be an advantage.
