Manager - Design

About the Role
The Design Manager will lead the end-to-end design and product development process for Babies & More, focusing on the maternity, baby, and kids categories. This role is pivotal in translating brand direction, consumer insights, and market trends into product collections that are commercially viable and reflect the brand’s positioning while meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of seasonal collections across maternity, baby, and kids categories.
• Develop creative concepts, product ranges, colour palettes, prints, fabrics, and design directions in line with brand identity.
• Monitor global and regional trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify new product opportunities.
• Oversee the product development process from initial concept and design briefs through sampling, revisions, and final approvals.
• Work closely with merchandising, buying, sourcing, and production teams to ensure products meet commercial requirements, target costs, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure consistency in design quality, fit, functionality, comfort, safety, and overall product standards.
• Guide and manage the design team, providing creative direction, feedback, and support.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align collections with seasonal strategies, sales objectives, and business priorities.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product design, materials, and development processes.
