Responsibilities
- Managing an application portfolio and associated projects for various internal applications on premise and on cloud.
- Identifying opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or process improvement focused on collaboration systems and internal tools.
- Research, procure and manage software applications that contribute to the success of the company.
- Lead the configuration, monitoring and maintenance of tools and systems across departments.
- Establish protocols for software applications and ensure their ease of use for internal business users.
- Manage upgrades for servers, hardware, and software.
- Report operational issues to senior management, end users, and stakeholders.
- Manage financial budgets for specific projects and day-to-day department operations.
- Lead vendor and internal teams during project implementation and support phases.
- Assure seamless integration of different applications from various vendors.
- Create and maintain process flows and documentation in consultation with stakeholders.
- Manage a team of internal resources and third parties for project execution and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
- Conduct follow-up meetings with stakeholders to continuously improve internal engagement processes.
- Drive consistency in the implementation of systems and best practices aligned with internal IT policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, web design or a related field.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in an Applications Manager or similar role, preferably supporting SaaS applications and 2+ years of vendor management experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with application implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
- Demonstrative knowledge and experience of system design, databases, and project management methodologies.
- Proven experience in problem-solving complex issues within large organizations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
