Manager | Engineering AI & Data

As a Manager in the AI & Data | Data Management sector at the company, you will be responsible for creating impactful data solutions for our clients. This role is pivotal in understanding complex business and technical requirements, leading the development of end-to-end architectures tailored to client needs. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to modernize data platform architectures and implement innovative data engineering pipelines.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions:

• On-site
• Full-time
• Willingness to travel across the GCC region (75% of the time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business and technical requirements into custom architecture based on clients' needs.
• Lead implementations of large data platforms in the public sector.
• Design and maintain physical data models for data warehouses and operational databases.
• Develop data ingestion and engineering pipelines from various sources.
• Conduct data source analysis and define transformation rules.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize data processing and analytics workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with 6-10 years specifically in Data Engineering & Architecture, focusing on designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL frameworks.
• Experience in the public sector is essential.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Arabic language skills preferred.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Four or Global System Integrators.
• Professional Certification in relevant tools or platforms is a plus.
