Position

The company is looking for a Manager in the Engineering AI & Data division, focusing on Data Management specifically within the Energy Resources Industry. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data management to design, implement, and mature enterprise data management capabilities across the oil and gas sector, particularly in the Upstream segment.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Type: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data management frameworks, adhering to standards such as DAMA, DCAM, and CDMP.
  • Manage data governance, metadata management, data quality, master and reference data management, and data architecture.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to create secure and operational data solutions.
  • Engage with clients, manage stakeholder expectations, and present to executive-level audiences.
  • Identify business opportunities through data management that drive measurable value and operational efficiency.

Technical Capabilities Required:

  • 10–15 years of experience in data management within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven delivery experience in data governance, metadata management, and related domains.
  • Practical experience with leading data management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to data security and regulatory compliance in oil and gas environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Significant exposure to the oil and gas industry with a focus on upstream and downstream data management.
  • Strong leadership abilities to mentor and develop teams, manage engagement financials, and ensure delivery quality.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting or with major consulting firms is a must.
  • Professional Certification in DAMA, DCAM, CDMP, or CMMI's DMM is advantageous.
