Key Accountabilities

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Lead the Finance Technology function, including planning system development and financial process automation.
    • Partner with the VP of Business Performance to define and execute the digital finance roadmap.
    • Act as a strategic liaison between Finance, IT, and other business units to ensure technology initiatives align with financial objectives.
  • System Management & Enhancement

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial planning systems (Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
    • Ensure the integrity, availability, and performance of financial data and planning tools.
    • Manage system upgrades, testing, user training, and documentation.
  • Process Automation & Innovation

    • Lead the identification and automation of manual finance processes using tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, or RPA platforms.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance organization.
    • Ensure proper change management and governance processes are followed.
  • Team Leadership

    • Provide guidance and direction to the Planning Systems Specialist and Process Automation Specialist.
    • Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and agile team environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with FP&A, Controllership, and other finance teams to understand evolving needs and deliver scalable solutions.
    • Work closely with IT on system integrations, data governance, and architecture alignment.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA is a plus).
  • Minimum Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in finance systems, financial planning & analysis, or business process improvement.
    • Prior leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional projects.
  • Skills:

    • Strong hands-on experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC).
    • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, Power Automate, SQL, Python).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to lead change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
