In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE law while preparing and consolidating the Group's financial statements.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the Group Consolidation and ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE law
- Prepare periodic consolidated financial statements
- Review division-wise financial results monthly and analyze reported numbers
- Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with IFRSs
- Coordinate with Group subsidiaries for monthly reviews of financial results
- Provide technical accounting support to the Core Finance team and Business Units (BUs)
- Prepare accounting papers for critical matters and liaise with external auditors
- Assist in establishing financial performance measures (financial KPIs)
- Prepare management reports and presentations for executives, shareholders, and the Board
- Manage the monthly and year-end closing process, providing necessary financial statements
- Foster a collaborative work environment and support various ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in IFRS, consolidation, and financial reporting
- CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent qualification
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly IFRS 15
- Experience with Big 4 audit firms and leading independent audit assignments
- Proficient in coordinating audit discussions on complex accounting matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
