About the Job: The Manager, HR Technology is responsible for the strategy, development, configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, enhancements, and integration of all human resource information systems within the corporate HR department. This role serves as a senior-level HR business partner, analyst, and strategist. Key responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and reporting HR-related data to identify trends and recommend solutions for effective people strategies. The position guides the Product Roadmap for Workday and supports the business in achieving program goals, managing the delivery of the product, team growth, and implementation of new features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage human resource department and organizational needs for human resource systems, focusing on technical components.
  • Oversee global team members on various schedules to support HRIS projects.
  • Manage full life cycle HRIS projects, including project planning.
  • Recommend system design and configuration to meet current and future strategic needs.
  • Research costs and vendors, managing contract renewals.
  • Ensure operational continuity and reporting efficiency, resolving software issues.
  • Maintain data integrity and system security, testing system changes.
  • Design and generate queries, reports, and dashboards.
  • Act as liaison between users, IT, Software Engineering, and third parties.
  • Research new technologies and keep management informed.
  • Prioritize inbound requests for HR applications.
  • Utilize data and metrics to develop technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Lead day-to-day program activities, ensuring project targets are met.
  • Identify and communicate key risks and issues to management, completing risk mitigation activities.
  • Utilize planning tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) for tracking projects.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong domain expertise in all aspects of Workday.
  • Knowledge in core HR, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, management, payroll, integrations, reporting, and time & attendance.
  • Familiarity with existing solutions, new technologies, and emerging trends.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive functional and technical experience in Workday.
  • Experience managing or supervising employees.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Workday HRM and Cloud HCM solutions.
  • Experience in quantitative HRIS analysis and data analytics.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $108,253.00/year in the lowest geographic market up to $158,733.30/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities.
