As the Incident & Change Manager, you will ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of IT services across Space42. You will manage incident resolution and oversee controlled changes within our high-performance space technology environment, in line with ITIL best practices specifically tailored for the space-tech industry. This includes logging and promptly resolving incidents and ensuring all change requests are validated and approved before deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead incident management processes for rapid resolution of critical IT issues.
- Oversee change management workflows, assessing risks and ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, security, engineering) to implement changes with minimal disruption to services.
- Maintain incident and change records, analyze trends, and recommend preventive measures.
- Develop and refine IT service management policies aligning with industry standards and company objectives.
- Facilitate post-incident reviews (PIRs) to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in all activities.
- Drive continuous improvement using automation and AI-powered tools for ITSM processes.
- Provide regular reports on incident/change metrics to senior leadership.
- Supervise the Asset and Configuration Management process and ensure it aligns with organizational goals.
- Conduct audits and verifications to ensure data accuracy in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Provide training and guidance on best practices for asset and configuration management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- ITIL v4 Certification and preferably additional certifications such as ISO 20000 or COBIT.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in IT service management, incident/change management, or IT operations.
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
- Familiarity with high-availability environments (cloud, data centers, or critical infrastructure).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
