About the Job
The Manager in Integrations & Separations will be responsible for planning and executing integrations, separations, synergy assessments, and post-deal value creation engagements. This role requires coordination with various internal KPMG teams and capabilities, such as Operations, IT, Finance, and People & Change, to ensure functional expertise is applied where necessary.

Key responsibilities include executing Operational Due Diligence (ODD) in close collaboration with the Financial Due Diligence team to identify opportunities for value creation and highlight any operational issues or red flags material to the deal. You will also work alongside Partners, Directors, and Associate Directors on proposals and business development calls, managing the end-to-end preparation of proposals.

In this position, you will supervise, train, and mentor junior resources, drive daily engagements, and manage client expectations regarding project deliverables and deadlines while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Prior Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or CA, CPA, ACCA qualified
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of integrations and separations, including assessments, detailed planning, Day 1/100, and implementation
  • Proven experience in managing or supporting the Integration/Separation Management Office
  • Knowledge of operational or IT due diligence, synergies assessment, transitional services identification, and costing
  • Ability to manage ODD projects to uncover and articulate deal issues/red flags
  • Strong reporting, writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience in designing proposals
  • Flexible working style and excellent teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in a big four firm, boutique M&A, or corporate M&A is preferred
  • Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous
