Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead the Inventory Control team, ensuring timely deliveries to outlets, completion of scheduled inventory counts, effective team guidance, and prompt resolution of outstanding matters.
- Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data within BirchStreet.
- Take primary responsibility for ensuring that all inventory and financial postings are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and allocate resources to meet departmental requirements in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare, validate, and distribute daily and monthly food cost reports to outlets, analyze variances and trend changes, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify underlying causes.
- Prepare month-end inventory reports for review by the Operations Controller and submission for corporate reporting.
- Address inventory variances with the warehouse team and align with the Operations Controller on adjustments, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Evaluate team performance and provide necessary training.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper records management in accordance with company policies.
- Lead by example and foster a culture of safe behavior among team members in accordance with Wynn Health and Safety Standards.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of managerial experience in inventory control, supported by strong financial acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experienced in inventory management, financial systems, and reporting platforms, including BirchStreet, Oracle, and Power BI.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, supported by strong interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment and taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Collaborative and adaptable team player who responds effectively to changing priorities and performs well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
