As a Manager of IT Application Development, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing business applications that enhance processes and support end users across EDGE Corporate and its entities. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of applications and enhancements, overseeing project deliverables, quality, resource management, scheduling, communication, and implementation from the design phase through to go-live.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing project plans, including risk identification and mitigation, scope and budget tracking, and post-implementation support planning.
- Collaborating closely with the Digital Transformation team to define requirements and design blueprints for applications.
- Leading the development of applications that interface with EDGE systems, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and internal teams.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and formulating plans to enhance the EDGE applications landscape.
- Recommending innovative and cost-effective software development projects and system enhancements.
- Ensuring successful implementation across EDGE while adhering to leading quality standards.
- Overseeing the performance and progress of all application development projects, including integration, testing, and commissioning activities aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Assisting in change management and promoting the proactive adoption of application platforms through effective communications that demonstrate the value of the new processes.
- Providing constructive feedback to direct reports and identifying their training and development needs.
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 15 years in Business Application Development.
- Experience in the UAE or Middle East is desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
