Manager - IT Data Center Operations

We are looking for a highly skilled Manager – IT Data Center Operations to oversee the management, security, and efficiency of our data center infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, operational excellence, and compliance with IT standards while leading a team responsible for day-to-day data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and monitor daily data center operations to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Oversee server, storage, virtualization, and backup infrastructure management.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, audit requirements, and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL standards.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to support business continuity.
• Plan and execute data center capacity management, upgrades, and new deployments.
• Drive automation and process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and annual maintenance contracts.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the data center operations team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in IT infrastructure and data center operations, with at least [Y] years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, networking, power, and cooling).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and backup solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and data center security standards (ISO 27001, SOC, etc.).
• Experience in disaster recovery, high availability, and capacity planning.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
