We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Governance Manager to ensure compliance with UAE and international regulations, develop IT governance frameworks, and manage the IT and Security Risk Governance Committee. This position is critical in interpreting data and providing insights that influence key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT governance frameworks and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international regulations, and ISO standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate IT and security risks.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with IT departments and business units to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate IT governance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Manage technology selection, customization, and deployment processes.
- Report on IT governance performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Establish and run the IT and Security Risk Governance Committee, including defining its purpose, scope, and objectives.
- Develop a charter for the committee and ensure stakeholder representation from IT, security, legal, and business units.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for new digital initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 7-10 years in IT governance, risk management, and compliance positions, focusing on UAE regulations, international regulations, and ISO standards. Proven experience in running IT and Security Risk Governance Committees.
- Certifications: Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of UAE data protection laws, international regulations (e.g., GDPR), and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL.
- Proficiency in risk management, compliance, and audit processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with international and offshore teams.
