Manager - IT Governance

This role is crucial in driving transformation initiatives within a government entity, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

The successful candidate will manage governance processes, produce high-quality deliverables for senior leadership, and oversee project progress. If you have a strong background in project management, IT governance, and experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems, this position offers a chance to contribute to impactful transformation efforts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Engage and collaborate with various ERP stakeholders within the government entity and other governmental bodies to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives.
• Produce high-quality deliverables and presentations tailored for senior leadership, ensuring clarity and relevance to strategic objectives.
• Manage and oversee end-to-end governance processes for the transformation program, ensuring compliance with established frameworks and best practices.
• Produce and manage regular reports that provide insights into project/program progress, risks, and governance metrics, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Oversee the escalation process for issues and risks, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication to stakeholders regarding critical matters.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Experience in Project Management, Governance, and Reporting.
• Knowledge of IT and Digital Governance.
• Technical expertise in Oracle ERP or similar technology systems implementation.
• Proven experience in building frameworks, process development, and strategy management processes.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT projects is highly beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, or any other IT governance certification are preferred.
