Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and manage roadmaps to implement strategies for designing and upgrading the Enterprise Datacenter, end-user network, and telephony infrastructure to meet current and future business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define network architecture, standards, and policies, incorporating cutting-edge technologies securely and with zero downtime.
- Manage day-to-day network and Telecom operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Implement robust network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats, while maintaining vendor relationships for effective service delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of global network and telecom engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or relevant field.
- Certified in CCIE, JNCIE or similar.
- 10+ years of Information Technology experience, with proven hands-on experience in Enterprise Network and Telecom technologies.
- Knowledge and experience of working in Enterprise Data Centres, as well as familiarity with network virtualization and cloud networking.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols, including OSI & TCP/IP models, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
