The job owner is accountable for the evaluation and boarding activities of all new Solutions, expansions, and Applications for IT (Infra and application) to be in compliance with company-approved targets and procedures. The job owner supports assessing information risk and facilitates remediation of identified vulnerabilities for IT and Network security across the enterprise. They also support Internal Audit objectives administratively and functionally. The position holder should be technically strong enough to find solutions for challenges related to new projects to meet the Business time to market without impacting the operational quality and customer experience.

Key Accountabilities
- Support planning and execution of evaluation and boarding activities of all new projects, according to the Plan.
- Ensure proper evaluation of all new Solutions and Applications by participating in the RFP process, Design, Development, and lab testing.
- Certify the new solutions related to IT, including applications and Infrastructure (not limited to Storage, OpenShift, NFVI, Compute/OS, Database mainly Oracle DB’s).
- Ensure smooth transition of new solutions to the production environment and develop an efficient operation model that follows best practices of operational excellence while meeting Business and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor degree in Computer, IT, Electrical, Electronic, Network Engineering or IT (any telecom equivalent)
- PMP Certification will be a plus
- ITIL certification will be desirable
Experience
- 8-10 years of experience with at least 5 years of technical experience in a Telecom company.
- Development experience in OpenStack CLI commands and administration.
- Experience with deployment or configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Familiarity or experience with Software Defined Networking principles or systems.
- Programming aptitude in Python, Java scripts, SOAP, Ruby, PHP.
Skills
- Knowledge of SDN, NFV, OpenStack, Docker, and Containers Concepts.
- Understanding of Open-Source software development, system and database administration best practices.
- A deep understanding of Data Centers virtualization technologies (servers, networks, and software stacks), monitoring tools, and processes.
