Key Responsibilities
- Product-oriented solution management: Oversee the lifecycle of all products in the portfolio from concept to launch. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Product and solution design and delivery: Lead technical product, delivery, and solution architecture resources to define features, design solutions, and implement them on time and within budget.
- Delivery-focused accountability: Accountable for end-to-end product and solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Data-driven management and improvement: Manage the product portfolio according to cross-functional metrics, using data to inform enhancements and service improvements.
- Investment planning and relationship management: Support the long-term investment strategy and manage relationships with business units to ensure product efficacy.
- Budget management: Develop, plan, and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adjustment as necessary.
- Building high-performance teams: Manage cross-functional teams to guarantee high-quality IT product delivery, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Supplier relationship management: Maintain relationships with strategic IT external partners and subcontractors to ensure service level adherence.
- Continuous process improvement: Collaborate with various teams to enhance practices and skills related to product delivery.
- Innovating and creating a continuous learning culture: Stay updated on industry trends and foster a learning environment within the teams.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in an IT-related discipline.
- Experience: 10+ years in Information Technology, preferably in the cargo domain and aviation technology.
- Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Product Management and/or Project Management, ideally with certification (e.g., SAFe, PMI).
- Proven experience in technology product delivery across multiple business domains.
- Experience in managing large-scale IT delivery functions and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Agile and traditional delivery tools (e.g., Jira, PPM) and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
