Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day landscape maintenance operations across assigned sites and areas.
  • Develop weekly and monthly maintenance plans and ensure activities are completed according to operational schedules and priorities.
  • Lead and supervise Landscape Maintenance Supervisors, technical teams, gardeners, and field workforce.
  • Oversee all softscape and horticultural activities, including pruning, mowing, planting, fertilization, weeding, mulching, plant replacement, and general landscape care.
  • Monitor overall plant health and landscape quality, ensuring corrective actions are implemented for pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, plant stress, and other horticultural issues.
  • Oversee irrigation performance and coordinate with irrigation teams to maintain appropriate watering schedules, resolve system issues, and improve water-use efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscape areas meet required quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Manage manpower planning, workforce deployment, productivity, attendance, and utilization according to operational requirements.
  • Review Supervisors' daily work plans and ensure resources are properly allocated across sites and priority areas.
  • Monitor landscape maintenance KPIs, work orders, service requests, client observations, and corrective actions, ensuring timely closure.
  • Manage requirements for plants, fertilizers, chemicals, soil, tools, machinery, vehicles, and other landscape materials.
  • Coordinate purchase requisitions, POs, material requirements, and service requests with Procurement and relevant support functions.
  • Review and validate operational invoices and supporting documentation related to landscape maintenance services, materials, and contractors.
  • Monitor contractor and service-provider performance and ensure compliance with agreed scope, quality, safety, and service requirements.
  • Ensure landscape machinery, tools, vehicles, and equipment are effectively utilized and maintained in serviceable condition.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements, environmental standards, PPE requirements, toolbox talks, and safe working practices.
  • Coordinate closely with Nursery, Irrigation, HSE, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Facilities, HR, and other operational teams.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, address operational concerns, and ensure timely resolution of service issues.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including manpower, productivity, quality, plant health, resources, materials, and outstanding actions.
  • Monitor operational costs and resource consumption and identify opportunities for cost optimization and productivity improvement.
  • Support mobilization and operational readiness for new landscape maintenance areas and projects.
  • Identify operational risks, manpower gaps, quality concerns, and resource constraints and escalate critical matters to the Senior Manager.
  • Coach and develop Supervisors and field teams to strengthen technical capability, accountability, and overall team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in landscape quality, sustainability, water efficiency, workforce productivity, and service delivery.
  • Ensure all landscape maintenance activities achieve the required business objectives, client expectations, contractual requirements, and quality standards.

Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Management, Landscape Architecture, Plant Production, or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in landscape maintenance or horticultural operations, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong experience in large-scale landscaping, resorts, hospitality, facilities management, or major development projects is preferred.
  • The role requires strong knowledge of horticulture, softscape maintenance, irrigation, plant health, manpower management, operational planning, HSE, quality control, budgeting, contractor management, and client coordination, supported by strong leadership, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
