This role is focused on ensuring all destination facilities and infrastructure operate at peak performance through the leadership of planning, execution, and continuous improvement of both preventive and reactive maintenance programs. The position entails overseeing technical operations across MEP systems, attractions, utilities, and the pool water treatment system (both freshwater and seawater), while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, alongside maximizing equipment reliability. The Manager is crucial in minimizing downtime, enhancing asset longevity, and ensuring smooth integration between engineering, operations, and third-party vendors.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules across all facility systems.
- Manage MEP systems, ride equipment, and pool water treatment systems (freshwater & seawater).
- Oversee asset inspections and service records via CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Supervise internal technicians and outsourced maintenance contractors.
- Coordinate with operations and engineering to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, OEM standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with the Project Delivery team to highlight and resolve all defect findings during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
- Respond to urgent breakdowns and implement corrective actions and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Maintain an inventory tracker and manage critical spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and monitor service level agreements (SLAs).
- Report maintenance KPIs to leadership and recommend lifecycle improvements.
- Lead technical audits, inspections, and condition assessments for infrastructure and attractions.
- Collaborate on capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and recommend upgrades or asset replacements based on performance and lifespan.
- Ensure proper calibration, testing, and maintenance of safety and control systems.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Engineering Department strategies aligned with operational objectives.
- Develop the Section or Unit’s objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans, ensuring implementation meets performance targets.
- Contribute to the Section or Unit’s budget preparation and monitor financial performance.
- Implement and ensure adherence to Section or Unit policies and procedures; oversee performance and KPI communication.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of Section or Unit employees in coordination with upper management.
Job Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Years of Experience: 8 years total, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, and a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity within the leisure and entertainment sector.
