Manager - Middle Office

As a Manager - Middle Office at the company, your role is responsible for overseeing investment governance functions across Group Asset Management. The position focuses on mitigating operational risk, maintaining data integrity, and monitoring investment decision-making through timely and accurate reporting. Additionally, it drives process improvements, automation, and strategic initiatives to enhance operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the investment governance framework across all funds and mandates.
• Maintain and monitor investment guidelines in line with prospectuses and signed agreements.
• Review and report trade execution in line with best execution and broker concentration policy.
• Report on active and passive breaches to the Investment Governance Committee.
• Carry out daily NAV variance checks.
• Report on monthly TERs to Finance.
• Conduct due diligence on new counterparties and perform ongoing periodic reviews.
• Ensure SOPs are updated and signed off by management.
• Complete periodic rebates and trail processes.
• Provide support for new business or projects.

Requirements

• MBA/Post Graduation with a finance background.
• CISI IOC certification preferred.
• Over 5 years of banking experience in investment operations or a similar function.
• Strong understanding of capital market instruments.
• Knowledge of asset management functions, particularly in Middle Office.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
