The Opportunity
This technical leadership role involves guiding clients on end-to-end cloud solutions and architecture. You will spend most of your time embedded in clients' teams, leveraging your expertise to impact cloud usage effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and guiding the right architectures for large-scale cloud transformation projects, supporting client proposals and bids.
- Driving advancement of cloud usage among strategic customers.
- Influencing the direction of Microsoft Business Applications Engineering through gathering feedback and impacting organizational direction.
- Conducting technical presentations, workshops, demos, and proof of concepts (PoCs) that empower customers to implement cloud solutions aligned with their business needs.
- Addressing technical blockers to accelerate cloud platform adoption.
- Building relationships with various customer technical communities, including CIOs, CTOs, and architecture leads.
- Collaborating with industry teams to infuse cloud solutions into broader offerings.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree, ideally in technology (e.g., Business with MIS, Computer Science, etc.).
- Over 10 years of experience in technical leadership roles within consulting, cloud providers, or enterprise environments.
- Proven track record in delivering client value through future state cloud architecture recommendations.
- Deep subject matter expertise in Cloud Computing and proficiency in Microsoft Azure and other platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, VMware).
- Strong knowledge of AI, security, IoT, infrastructure modernization, data management, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
