The Merchant Cloud Gateway Core Processing regional product management team is a pivotal part of payments innovation, dedicated to enabling seamless, scalable, and secure customer experiences through the company Merchant Cloud’s connected capabilities. This team shapes the regional strategy and drives execution for market-leading acceptance products that enhance customer growth, operational efficiency, and respond to evolving market requirements.
The Product Manager will be instrumental in advancing the Gateway Core Processing portfolio across Domestic and International Payment Rails, Alternative Payment Rails, Card Present capabilities, scheme compliance, and other strategic focus areas. This role requires close collaboration with Global and Regional Product Directors, market teams, and functional partners, ensuring that market needs are translated into commercially relevant, scalable solutions to strengthen the company’s local and regional payment offerings across priority markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own roadmap development, prioritization, and execution for defined focus areas, ensuring alignment with EEMEA and global strategic objectives.
  • Prioritize product development initiatives in accordance with Gateway Core Processing strategy, customer demand, commercial opportunity, and delivery readiness.
  • Design and conduct user and market research, including customer interviews, to identify pain points, motivations, unmet needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, customer outcomes, product requirements, and technology delivery objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of clear, high-quality technical and business requirements to facilitate effective execution and delivery.
  • Drive go-to-market planning, commercialization, and adoption of new and enhanced Core Processing products and capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, customers, technology partners, commercial teams, and delivery functions, to achieve product objectives and ensure successful market execution.

All About You

  • Proven experience in agile product management, ideally within payments, financial services, technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of payment products, gateway services, processing platforms, or financial technology solutions is preferred.
  • An analytical, structured, and solutions-oriented mindset, capable of developing insight-led recommendations and driving thought leadership.
  • Experience designing, executing, and synthesizing user research to enhance customer value, user experience, product adoption, and long-term engagement.
  • Strong awareness of competitive offerings, customer expectations, regulatory considerations, and industry trends, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, capabilities, and customer outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling confident engagement with customers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Highly organized, adept at managing multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity, and producing results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with product management practices and tools, including market assessments, product plans, roadmaps, business cases, pricing inputs, timelines, and research outputs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical background in Computer Science or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred but not mandatory.
