About the Role
Lead the specification, identification, development, selection, and implementation rollout to Group companies and maintenance of best-in-class processes, systems, and tools. This includes PM portfolio and project-based software, as well as PS cost and scheduling software, to deliver successful and efficient project management and control systems across the Group Companies. You will manage standardized implementation and rollout of project management system guidelines, documentation, and administration, assuring competence and assessments of project management personnel while establishing a project management systems knowledge community across the company.

Key Accountabilities
Project Management Systems
- Lead the specification, identification, development, selection, and implementation rollout to Group companies for best-in-class processes, systems, and tools, ensuring the delivery of efficient project management and control systems.
- Oversee overall project management processes, systems, and tools, monitoring alignment with defined targets and identifying deviations and risks to report to the Head of Function.
- Define group-specific Project Management Systems Standards, Procedures, methodologies, and tools in compliance with company guidelines.
- Provide technical expertise on Project Management processes, systems, and tools whenever required.
- Lead the development of Project Management and Project Services competency and career development programs to ensure the right capability exists for the success of the capital delivery program.
Project Control
- Support the Project Manager in controlling individual projects by applying company methodologies, processes, and templates.
- Maintain project management and control systems’ administration.
- Support timely identification of potential issues and mitigation actions.
- Manage MoC processes for changes that may affect the asset and the project.
- Educate the PMT/IPMT on project management methodologies, processes, templates, etc.
Management
- Plan and supervise department personnel and resources to achieve division objectives in a cost-efficient manner, ensuring implementation of operational plans.
- Develop knowledge, competencies, and innovative spirit in the Department while supporting Personal Development Plans (PDP), succession planning, and talent pipelines, emphasizing the development of UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.
Budgets and Operational Plans
- Compile input for preparation of Division budgets and monitor expenditures against approved levels.
- Investigate, highlight, and reconcile significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Lead the implementation of approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, and internal controls to support execution of Division work programs in line with company and international standards.
Performance Management
- Implement the Company Performance Management System for Department individuals following approved guidelines and monitor achievement of Department KPIs related to the Annual Performance Management Contract and Balanced Score Card.
Organisation Structure and Development
- Review, develop, and recommend the appropriate structure for the Department that effectively utilizes human capital while incorporating sustainability into ongoing practices to meet business objectives.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Encourage innovation and enhance employee motivation, supporting change management initiatives for continuous improvement in operations and services.
- Propose internal process improvements against best practices to achieve greater efficiency in line with ISO standards.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Foster an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems, and applicable legislation across the Department in line with international standards.
- Ensure adequate HSE training and induction for all Department employees.
Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reports
- Prepare Department MIS and progress reports, providing accurate and timely information to Company Management for effective business management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 15 years of experience with project management systems development and management.
