Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the commercial activity of the department from lead generation to bid estimations and budget elaboration. Identify, research, and target new business opportunities.
- Coach, mentor, provide feedback, communicate expectations, oversee, and evaluate project team members.
- Contribute to the risk management of the department.
- Ensure the correct assignment of resources (human and material) to projects and contracts.
- Manage project lifecycle, including project scope, goals, execution, and deliverables:
- Plan/manage execution, subcontractors, and logistics.
- Obtain permits/approvals (Trakhees, DM, landlords).
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and snag closure.
- Produce handover packs (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties).
- Manage procurement and technical submittal approvals.
- Ensure budgets, cash flow, and margins of all projects and variations are adhered to, achieving accurate invoicing and timely collection.
- Chair client progress meetings and oversee change management.
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with existing customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the development of solid quality proposals that meet customer requirements and optimize the chances of winning projects.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards to minimize accident risks and comply with all U.A.E. laws and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, implement QC/ITPs, maintain site diaries, and capture lessons learned to update standards/estimates.
