Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight and direction for the entire portfolio, ensuring alignment with departmental and the company’s objectives.
- Lead the portfolio review process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on key metrics such as budget, timelines, risks, and outcomes.
- Verify and approve all relevant documents and ensure budget approvals are completed before final sign-off.
- Act as a liaison between the Chief and the departments under supervision, ensuring smooth communication and timely updates.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify interdependencies, mitigate risks, and drive synergy across the company portfolio.
- Validate all business cases and feasibility studies in coordination with department heads.
- Track and manage the overall budget, ensuring compliance with corporate financial governance.
- Support decision-making by providing data-driven analysis and recommendations.
- Manage escalations from department heads and stakeholders to ensure swift resolution of issues.
- Coordinate governance activities between the portfolio and the corporate Project Management Office.
- Document and administer corporate claims, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Liaise with external stakeholders during investigations and implementation phases of business initiatives.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (2+ years) in Aviation Business Management Specialization.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects, with a proven ability to plan, execute, and achieve desired outcomes within timelines.
- Experience in aviation within IT (7-9 years).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
