This is an opportunity for a recruitment leader with deep expertise in aviation engineering or technical recruitment who understands the unique challenges of attracting, assessing, and securing highly skilled engineering talent. You will lead a team of recruiters responsible for both high-volume frontline engineering hiring and specialist technical positions, ensuring the company remains competitive in a highly sought-after talent market.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading and developing a high-performing Engineering recruitment team.
- Creating and executing bold recruitment strategies that support the company's engineering growth plans.
- Acting as a strategic talent advisor to senior engineering leaders and stakeholders.
- Developing innovative attraction campaigns and sourcing strategies to engage top engineering talent globally.
- Building sustainable talent pipelines across licensed engineers, maintenance, technical operations, and specialist engineering disciplines.
- Driving assessment excellence, ensuring hiring decisions are robust, objective, and aligned to business requirements.
- Leveraging market intelligence and competitor insights to strengthen hiring outcomes.
- Delivering exceptional service to both candidates and hiring managers while maintaining pace and quality of hire.
- Continuously improving recruitment processes, tools, and ways of working to enhance performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience leading aviation engineering or engineering recruitment teams.
- Proven expertise recruiting for both high-volume frontline engineering roles and specialist technical positions.
- Deep understanding of engineering talent markets, sourcing strategies, and technical assessment methodologies.
- Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of managing, coaching, and developing recruiters.
- Ability to build credibility and influence at senior stakeholder level.
- Experience using data, market insights, and innovation to drive recruitment performance.
- Strong understanding of candidate attraction, assessment, and selection best practices.
- Degree educated with extensive experience within Talent Acquisition and recruitment leadership.
