Manager - Retail Wealth Technology

The Manager - Retail Wealth Technology will be a key driver in our Injaz - RBG - Wealth Management Services department. They will be responsible for overseeing the technology stack, from database infrastructure to back-end development and external integrations. This role requires a hands-on approach, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional wealth management products and services, and ensuring we maintain our competitive edge.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement wealth management products, staying ahead of the curve with technology advancements.
• Contribute to the full technology stack, including database, DevOps, back-end development, and external integrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and engineers to co-develop wealth platforms.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore development resources for timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Maintain and integrate WM systems with other platforms, ensuring seamless operations.
• Provide support to internal business users, addressing their technology needs and queries.
• Manage software configuration and version control, ensuring efficient and organized development processes.
• Ensure day-to-day BAU system stability and maximum system availability.
• Support business-as-usual activities and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
• Stay updated with security patches, applying them regularly and tracking their progress.

Requirements

• A proven track record in wealth management technology or a related field is essential.
• Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, with excellent coordination skills.
• Strong understanding of wealth management platforms and their integration with other systems.
• Hands-on experience with FinIQ or similar wealth management software is an advantage.
• Proficiency in database management, DevOps, and back-end development is a must.
• Familiarity with external integrations, such as Bloomberg and All Funds, is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, always seeking to improve and enhance our technology stack.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in wealth management technology.
