About the Job
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for mapping all existing and new Applications into the IT architecture blueprint including application capabilities, capacity, and interfaces across all applications in the IT Architecture portfolio. Additionally, this position will support large-scale technology implementation/capability development projects by providing advice on appropriate applications, reporting, and analysis architecture. The role will also involve close collaboration with the Business Architecture team to convert business requirements into technical solution design across all applications while ensuring compliance with the overall applications portfolio strategy. You will perform application life cycle management of existing systems and recommend actions to ensure compliance, reporting, and fitness for purpose. This role also acts as the cloudification Single Point of Contact (SPOC).

Key Accountabilities
- Contribute to the creation and review of the overall applications portfolio strategy in alignment with the architecture blueprint.
- Analyze changes to applications design, capabilities, and interfaces through projects and change requests as required to ensure that the overall applications portfolio and interfaces are optimized and aligned with the IT Architecture blueprint.
- Support conversion of business use cases for new applications or new capabilities on existing applications.
- Participate in projects as a subject matter expert to understand business and technology-specific requirements across applications and ensure maximum reuse of existing system capabilities.
- Coordinate with Business Architecture and other IT teams to evaluate new capabilities vs. reusing existing capabilities across applications.
- Support the development and presentation of business cases for initiatives linked to changes in existing capabilities or the development of new capabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Experience
- 8 years of experience in the IT or technology fields in the Telecom industry.
- Previous experience in the development and delivery of Telecom solutions within OSS/BSS/ESS with a high level of complexity and integration using EAI to multiple back-end systems, network elements, and touch points.
- Solid experience in understanding business requirements and mapping them into defined applications.
