Essential Job Functions:
- Manage security architecture projects and initiatives, overseeing project teams.
- Collaborate with teams to implement security solutions, ensuring adherence to security standards.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, best practices, and risk mitigation approaches.
- Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures.
- Participate in security assessments and assist with compliance efforts.
- Communicate security-related information to stakeholders.
- Monitor security incidents and support incident response efforts.
- Support the training and development of junior staff.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role in security architecture.
- Proven experience in managing security projects and teams.
- Knowledge of security principles, technologies, and compliance requirements.
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Information Security or a related field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or advanced training are a plus.
