Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC) ensuring effective monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.
- Manage configurations, tuning, and optimization of SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability assessment, and EDR tools.
- Lead investigations and validation of security alerts, ensuring timely triage, escalation, and resolution.
- Prepare and present SOC performance reports and threat trend analyses to senior management.
- Evaluate and implement new security technologies and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, UAE national regulations).
- Support internal and external audits with documentation and insights.
- Collaborate across engineering, architecture, GRC, and delivery teams for coordinated incident responses.
- Develop and deliver training programs for SOC analysts.
- Mentor and empower the SOC team to foster a collaborative culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, with industry certifications (SANS, ITIL Foundation).
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in a Security Operations Center.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM technologies (e.g., ArcSight) and SOAR platforms (e.g., Cortex).
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
- Proven capabilities in threat detection, incident analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning in emerging cyber threats and technologies.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred.
