We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Social Media and Internal Communications Manager to oversee and execute a comprehensive social media and internal communications strategy. This role will manage our social media and digital channels while developing initiatives that enhance employee engagement and corporate culture. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional copywriting skills, creativity, and attention to detail, managing both external and internal communications to provide high-quality, engaging content. Fluency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to align with our brand’s goals and enhance engagement across platforms.
- Create and manage content calendars for timely and engaging posts.
- Write captivating and on-brand captions, headlines, and copy for various channels, ensuring appropriate tone and voice.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and agencies to produce high-quality visual content.
- Capture live content during events and produce real-time stories for audience engagement.
- Monitor social media interactions and foster a positive online community through prompt responses to inquiries.
- Coordinate with agencies and internal teams for consistent execution of campaigns, managing workflows and timelines.
- Stay updated on social media trends and tools to optimize content strategies.
- Track performance metrics to provide insights on content performance and audience engagement.
- Develop and implement an internal communication strategy to keep employees informed and aligned with company goals.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters and announcements to engage employees with company updates and initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership for effective communication of internal messages.
- Organize internal events to promote a positive company culture and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in Digital Media Management or Social Media roles, preferably for major brands.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce compelling content.
- Familiarity with the technology sector and its nuances in social media.
- Preferred fluency in Arabic, though excellent English writing and long-form skills are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and best practices.
- Experience in internal communications and content development for employee engagement.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools.
- Strong creative abilities combined with a data-driven mindset to interpret metrics effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable with capturing live content at events.
