This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the Solutions Engineering within the Gulf team. You will establish objectives and work plans, delegating assignments to the team while ensuring that the SE organization is equipped to meet F5 company goals.
What You'll Do:
- Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report any violations.
- Manage the Gulf SE team, including performance evaluations, paid time-off approvals, work assignments, training, guidance, performance improvement plans, and hiring.
- Define core objectives, strategy, and priorities for Engineers in the SE Team.
- Collaborate with management to define quarterly and yearly headcount needs to ensure scalability of the SE organization.
- Foster effective communication and promote teamwork within your department and across the organization.
- Develop and maintain an effective SE partner plan.
- Scale the SE organization to meet/exceed objectives and enhance retention, recognition, and career planning.
- Identify and analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to inform the organization.
What You'll Need:
- BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience managing technical SEs in a management role.
- Thorough understanding of networking technologies and application delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.
- Self-motivated with the ability to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels.
