This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the Solutions Engineering team within the Gulf region. You will establish objectives and work plans, delegate assignments to the team, and ensure that the Solutions Engineering organization is fit for purpose to meet F5 company goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report violations of the Code or company policies.
  • Manage the Gulf Solutions Engineering team, conduct performance evaluations, approve paid time-off, assign work, provide training, guide staff, conduct performance improvement plans, take disciplinary action, and interview candidates for open positions.
  • Define core objectives, strategy, and priorities for Engineers within the assigned Solutions Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with management to define headcounts quarterly and yearly to ensure the organization can meet goals.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and organization, developing the SE organization to meet/exceed goals.
  • Develop and maintain a partner plan that involves professional services, support, marketing, and project management.
  • Contribute to strategic planning to scale the SE organization and develop retention, recognition, compensation, and career planning.
  • Drive customer success and manage post-sales issues, engagement with the support team, and overall customer and partner management.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) or relevant work experience.
  • Several years of experience managing technical SEs in a management role.
  • Thorough understanding of networking technologies and application delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization.
