Manager Spectrum Mgmt & Technology Regulatory Requirements (UAE National)

This position involves significant responsibilities related to spectrum management and regulatory requirements in the telecommunications sector. The primary focus is to establish and maintain a comprehensive technology spectrum dashboard, which includes details such as the spectrum bands for mobile access and WiFi, transport links, fees, and requests, both temporary and permanent. The role requires close cooperation with Access, transport, WiFi, and broadcast functions to ensure the provision of 3G, 4G, 5G, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technologies, as well as point-to-point transmission links and broadcasting services. Additionally, the candidate will facilitate temporary spectrum needs to support Mobile planning and Technology Access Design and Evolution teams, involving the acquisition of necessary resources and obtaining all required approvals. Managing consultations with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) is also a key responsibility, where the goal is to enhance the response quality by implementing an internal Time-Content Service Level Agreement (SLA) for relevant topics and ensuring all stakeholders in technology are informed of requests and consultations.

Qualifications

• BSc. or higher in Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 10 to 12 years of experience in Telecommunications networks, Spectrum management, and regulatory requirements

Skills

• Up-to-date knowledge of spectrum, including current trends and updates
• Expertise in handling spectrum consultations to align with the company's strategic positions
• In-depth understanding of mobile networks and their evolution
• Strong vendor management skills, including experience with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
