Responsibilities
- Provide a clear mission and strategic vision for the Chapter, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overarching goals.
- Shape the direction and priorities of the chapter's initiatives, driving excellence, innovation, and a cohesive approach to achieving objectives.
- Document and regularly update best practices, methodologies, and standards for a Chapter of over 150 people.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the Chapter, ensuring effective knowledge sharing.
- Implement defined career ladders and core competencies for chapter members.
- Facilitate workshops, cross-skilling, and upskilling sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of Chapter members.
- Build productive relationships with senior leadership, chapter heads, and other stakeholders to enable collaboration and resolve impediments.
- Oversee a Shared Service Technology Experience team delivering critical services across business portfolios.
- Design the strategy and drive the adoption of a design system for Emirates Group IT aligned with corporate communications.
- Coach and mentor a team of high-performing IT professionals, facilitating their professional development.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of proven leadership experience in leading technology change for a large organization.
- Experience with agile delivery methods within the context of large technology change programs.
- Proven record of building technology products and solving complex problems with a drive for innovation.
- Ability to convey business concepts effectively to technical colleagues.
- Product Management skills, including experience as a Product Owner and Manager.
- Desirable: Previous experience in the aviation or travel & transportation industry.
