The Opportunity
We’re looking for a SAP Finance Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team.
Key Profile Requirements:
- Demonstrated excellence in project management with experience in presentations to senior leadership.
- Ideally, 10+ years of relevant professional experience within SAP Digital Transformation (ideally SAP Finance) with a minimum of 6 projects as a Program delivery lead and SAP Implementation experience.
- Proven experience successfully leading and managing a team to deliver Digital transformation projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Consulting experience and SAP implementation experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of project managers and supervisors delivering projects throughout the entire project lifecycle to meet project objectives.
- Maintain an overall view of all Regions and workstreams.
- Ensure the PMO has an appropriate governance structure in place, with achievable plans and timelines.
- Mitigate or resolve risks and issues effectively.
- Report and raise issues to Business Stakeholders that may impact the Program Timeline or Quality.
- Attend Steering committee, change control board, and other governance meetings as required.
- Ensure successful program delivery.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and issue resolution.
- Lead the team to ensure projects are delivered to scope, budget, schedule, and quality, meeting client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Strong Program management skills.
- Broad SAP application skills with experience in areas such as Financial accounting and closing operations, cost management, profitability analysis, New General Ledger, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Cash management, and Treasury, and Central finance.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Activate/Agile/Hybrid implementation methodologies.
- Capability to present the value proposition in the respective module/area with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of project management standards, overseeing and controlling projects.
- Good understanding of processes related to business requirement collection, analysis, product roadmap development, and product delivery.
- Public Sector knowledge is a plus.
- Proven track record managing teams and complex engagements in the consulting space.
